Sri Lankan to buy the world’s most expensive book

Arjun Wickramsinghe is the very first on the planet to purchase the world’s most expensive book presently in print for his son – It cost him Rs.30.8 million (US$ 275,000) it comes with Ferrari encrusted with 1,500 diamonds. Ferrari 458 Italia car will only costs you around US$ 225,000.

There are only 300 copies of Enzo Diamante Ferrari Opus edition published and at the rate of just one copy per country. There are 1,500 diamonds (30 carats) which were from Siroya Collections, a Dubai-based diamond jewellery company, used to decorate Ferrari’s prancing horse logo on the cover of the book with painstaking precision.of the It weight 37 Kg and there are 872 pages with 200,000 words and 2,000 pictures in the book, nearly 75 percent is exclusive, never-seen-before-in-print content. The Opus includes gatefold pictures, two metres long and exclusive interviews with motorsport legends who have been part of Ferrari’s unique history.
At the end of the sale of the books, the owners automatically qualify for a raffle to win a Ferrari F1 car. It is not a bad idea to purchase a book. However, it is too late as the limited edition book reserved for Sri Lanka is already taken.
