India helps to build the Kankasanthurai (KKS) Harbour

India will give you funding to Sri Lanka to create Northern Jaffna peninsula’s biggest harbour, that will smooth the progress from the transportation of products from near by Indian ports. This declaration has been done with a Sri Lankan official.

The Indian administration has made the decision to provide tax assistance to develop Kankasanthurai (KKS) Harbour in 2 different stages.
Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa, who offers the finance portfolio, had introduced the sale for KKS Harbour Development towards the cabinet of ministers.
Sugeeswara Senadhira, Sri Lanka High Commission’s Minister-Counsellor mentioned the cabinet approved the master plan throughout the final week.
The project, to become satisfied in 2 stages, entails reparations towards the subsisting breakwater, jetty and deepening from the harbour. A novel breakwater may also be built.
Senadhira stated, “A Memorandum of Understanding using the Indian government to handle the introduction of the main harbour will be signed shortly.” Government  bodies mentioned the expansion of KKS harbour will ease the transportation of products from Indian ports, that are nearby.
